If you have an idea for a new Academic book, the thought of expressing it on paper can initially be somewhat of a daunting experience. At Pearson we firmly believe that the development of any new idea needs to be a collaborative one but in order for us to start discussions with you about how we might actualise your idea, the first step is a well-conceived proposal.

Putting something on paper allows you to really work through your idea and refine it. For example, have you thought through how a lecturer and/or student would use your book in a learning environment? Are the learner outcomes as clear as they could be at this stage? In addition, preparing some sample content will really help you to focus your ideas.
